Welcome! I'm Jake, and my mission is to guide those navigating the complexities of rehabilitation and training towards transformative changes in their lives. My journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, where I topped my class in exercise physiology. Building on this foundation, I pursued further education, earning a Master of Physiotherapy from Swinburne University of Technology.
Throughout my own life, I've battled numerous physical challenges, including:
An early degenerative and stress fractured hip
A degenerative collarbone and AC joint
Chronic lower back pain on the background of a disc herniation
Tendinopathy affecting the muscles in my ankle and feet
And many more…
A bit more about myself
Struggling with these setbacks, I realised the importance of aligning training programs with personal goals. It took years of experimentation and perseverance to find the right balance, but through this journey, I honed my approach to improving my body while managing pain.
At just 10 years old, I grappled with a binge eating disorder, tipping the scales at 85kg (187lb). Overcoming this struggle was a turning point that led me to delve deeply into nutrition, under the mentorship of experts like Dr. Bill Campbell and Dr. Layne Norton as part of the Physique Coaching Academy. Through this process, I not only optimised my own performance but also enhanced my emotional and physical wellbeing. Having experienced the challenge of eating disorders firsthand, I empathise deeply with those facing similar struggles.
If my journey resonates with yours, then I'm here to guide you. No more spinning wheels in the mud, no more rollercoaster dieting cycles. Let's embark on your path to lasting transformation together, starting today.
